  1. MS-DOS Disk MAAI

  3. This is the ninth of the TPUG PC disks, MAAI. M = MS-DOS AAI = DISK ID
  4. I again have tried to make it a bit of an all around disk, hopefully something
  5. for everyone. It is for the most part a shareware/freeware disk and you should
  6. let your conscience guide you but I suggest that if you are going to use these
  7. programs that you should pay the programmer something for his effort if you
  8. find the program useful. Most of the programmers make contribution suggestions
  9. which do not seem out of line, in fact most are a steal for the quality of
  10. their work.  I have separated the programs with dummy files starting with a -
  11. and an ext of ---.  These files are blank and can be deleted once you are
  12. familiar with the different files and what is required for each program.

  14. Anyway back to the disk MAAI.
  15. The first program is BLOCKADE, a game of speed and skill for 1 to 5 players
  16. similar to snake etc. on the Commodore machines. A colour graphics card is
  17. required. See DOC file for details.
  18. The next program is also a game called SPACE WAR and includes two versions SWC
  19. for colour and SWH for mono. This is a interesting user supported game meaning
  20. they would like $20 to $30 for the program if you really like it. See DOC file
  21. for instructions and features.
  22. Next we have an alternative to the TYPE command in DOS, and is used in the
  23. same manner however allows you to go forward and backward in the file using
  24. the arrow or page keys.
  25. EDOS is a more friendly DOS interface and all commands must be in lower case.

  27. ASEASY is the latest version of this Lotus clone and this one supports both
  28. Lotus version 2 and 1.A as well as both colour and monochrome. See HLP file
